Marie Curie fellow at the Niels Bohr Institute

About me

I am a Marie Curie fellow in the Theoretical Astrophysics group of the Niels Bohr International Academy in Copenhagen. My research concerns the theoretical aspect of tidal disruption events as well as other transient and high-energy phenomena. I especially study the magneto-hydrodynamics of these systems including the impact of general relativity and radiative processes with a combination of analytical and numerical techniques.

Previously, I was a post-doctoral researcher in the TAPIR group at the California Institute of Technology. I obtained my PhD from Leiden Observatory in October 2017.
