If you are staying at the hotels near campus, we strongly recommend that you leave your car at the hotel and walk to the conference venue. For those driving, on Friday you can either use the meters near Mac Court (on University, between 15th and 18th; 75 cents per hour, can be filled for 10 hours), or stop at the Kiosk on 13th near Agate and get a permit for a parking lot. The closest lot with likely spaces is lot 2, across Franklin. Note that during the meeting, Agate St from Franklin to 13th is closed. You can get the Kiosk via Villard to 15th and up Agate to 13th. On Saturday, the lots (like 2) are free, but the meters are still enforced.

There are lots of restaurants very near to campus, and to the hotels. The primary locations are:
---along 13th Street, between Kincaid and Alder, and on Alder between 12th and 14th: There are Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indian, Mediterranean, and American. There is a very good pizza place (Pegasus) on 14th near Alder.
---along Franklin, near the hotels: These are wider apart. There is a Chinese buffet, a Thai restaurant, and a pizza place among others.
---there are fancier restaurants, but these are further away. Call or email Jim Isenberg for recommendations.
UO campus wireless will be available for workshop participants. We have set up accounts on the 'UO Guest' wireless network using the email address you provided as your username. Your password will be provided when you arrive.
A few computers (PCs and MACs) with internet access will be available for general use in room Wil 17 in the basement of Willamette Hall.
The Eugene airport has direct flights to/from SFO, DEN, PDX, and SEA. The Portland airport (PDX) is 110 miles from Eugene. See the University of Oregon Resources links on this page for driving directions and other useful information.

Almost all our room have queen size beds (all new). These are prices for the non smoking rooms for March 26, 27 and 28 2009. A two night minimum stay is required with these rates.
