I'm a postdoctoral scholar in theoretical astrophysics in the Tapir group at Caltech. I'm interested in several topics, including binary stellar evolution, tidal disruption events, globular cluster dynamics, and photoionization modeling. Check out the research page for more information about my work.
Before coming to Caltech, I received my Ph.D. from Penn State. My thesis advisors were Mike Eracleous and Steinn Sigurdsson. Before that I went to college at the University of Colorado Boulder where I studied astronomy and film.
