• Reissue 3.5 with LISAcode rigid orbits: Antoine says everything is ready, will get Steffen to rerun; will be published in same directory, John will add link

• Matt on evaluation: first objective is single executable to subtract candidate signal from challenge set
  • Neil: even for Galaxy, useful to look at residual SNR, get cross-correlations
  • Michele: get Fisher errors from lisape group
  • Matt: we really want participants to do their own evaluation
  • Ira: will start the code work
  • Michele: we can use the web submit interface to generate XML
  • Neil: when doing that, we don’t need to actually upload the Galaxy file
  • Matt: OK, will do modeled signals first, then worry about the Galaxy
  • Neil: although Jeff is gone, I’ve written the Galaxy evaluation, but will need to update it for frequency derivatives. Let’s treat that as lower priority
  • Neil: Note that Fisher may be very wrong, especially for spinning BHs
  • Michele: let’s at least look at it, then decide whether to use it

• Michele: the desire was expressed in Puerto Rico to write a peer-reviewed article about lessons learned in the MLDCs, quantitative results and implications for astrophysics objectives; would rerun some searches if necessary. A MLDC year 1-3 wrap up, basically.
• Matt: but not a proceedings; a paper decoupled from challenges and deadlines, with authorship based on contributions
• Ilya: so it would not be about methods as much as results
• Matt: we would have to start after end of Challenge 3
• Michele: OK, let’s start wiki page with ideas

• Neil: any challenge this year will have to be MLDC 4
• Stas: right, in Puerto Rico we promised an MLDC 3B (single signals) and 4 (single dataset with everything)
• Michele: GWDAW interest in MLDC 5 with realistic instrument, noise, gaps (rather than more realistic sources). WG1B is setting up separate working group for that. APC will be liaison, Antoine will push LISAcode toward doing realistic noise
• Michele: will need to formulate a list of desires for the new effort

• Matt: MLDC for students (1C), do ASAP, students will self-assess
• Stas: simple to generate, will ask Steffen
