**Description:**\\ 
The focus of this task group is to determine how LISA observations of gravitational radiation can supplement our understanding of the astrophysics of Galactic binary populations. To achieve this, we will need to explore the parameter space of population synthesis (e.g.: star formation rate, binary evolution channels, metalicity dependence, etc.); compare simulated LISA data streams from different populations; identify selection effects; and discover links and degeneracies between the LISA data and the underlying astrophysics of the population synthesis.
