If you don't have a login or you don't have enough privileges for this task group, e-mail Matt Benacquista. **Description:**\\ The focus of this task group is to determine how LISA observations of gravitational radiation can supplement our understanding of the astrophysics of Galactic binary populations. To achieve this, we will need to explore the parameter space of population synthesis (e.g.: star formation rate, binary evolution channels, metalicity dependence, etc.); compare simulated LISA data streams from different populations; identify selection effects; and discover links and degeneracies between the LISA data and the underlying astrophysics of the population synthesis. **Co-Chairs:**\\ Matthew Benacquista\\ Gijs Nelemans This Wiki will serve as a discussion area to exchange ideas, post links to papers and generally develop a community of researchers working on Galactic binaries and LISA. If you have would like to join the task group or have work that you feel would be of interest to the members of the task group, please e-mail the co-chair of the task group, Matthew Benacquista. **Current Members:**\\ **Discussion:**\\ Participate in a discussion. **Literature:**\\ Relevant publications (add your own). **Links:**\\ Assorted links to other LISA related pages.
